Technology, which basically refers to bringing together tools that ease creation, use and exchange of information, has a major goal of making tasks easier to execute as well as solving many mankind’s problems. As technology continues to advance and direct even more easiness in our lives, there is a need to stress how advantageous it has been to our lives. To awareness about science and technology, a techno workshop has been organized by the Department of Computer Science of St. Vincent Pallotti College, Kapa, Raipur. The theme of workshop was “TechnoBuzz - A Techno Workshop by Tech Savvy Students”, where all the students of various department have participated actively and revealed their talent with their innovative ideas. The workshop was inaugurated by the Director of the college Rev.Fr.Shanti Prakash Panna. He was accompanied by the Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey,Assistant Director Fr. Jullies Xess and Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri. H.O.D.’s of various departments with their teachers were also present. The workshop was open for all the students. Everyone visited the innovative models and appreciated the students for their efforts and novel ideas.
Different models from various departments like Arduino Cell Phone, 3D Hologram Pyramid, Smart city, mini projector, fire alarm and many more were presented. Students of all the departments visited the models and encouraged the students for their innovative ideas. Students of Holy Cross Senior Secondry School, Kapa were also visited the techno workshop.
The Judges of the event were Dr.G.Padma Gouri & Dr. Shraddha Verma. The winners of the event were Sneha Sankhla from BCA-II. 2nd prize goes to Fibonacci Series and 3D Hologram Pyramid Model and 3rd prize goes to Smart City model. Medals were given to winners and Momentos given to special models.
Certificates were distributed to all the participants.

H.O.D. of Computer Science Mrs. Pooja Rathi along with her team members Mrs. Abhilasha Khare, Mr.Suraj Singh, Mr. Manoj Singh and Ms.Shikha Agrawal worked very hard for the successful completion of the event.
